Role Summary:
The Senior Financial Advisor role is responsible for managing the client experience for a portion of the firm’s existing clients. This client facing role is responsible for maximizing financial planning opportunities, implementing the investment recommendations of the Blue Chip Partners’ Investment Committee, and building long-term relationships. Specific duties include preparing personalized financial plans, proactive communication with clients, investigating and responding to client inquiries, and implementing portfolio rebalances. A team of Associate Financial Advisors and Client Service team members will assist Senior Financial Advisors with managing client relationships. Development of new client business is not required but will be rewarded. There is a path for an individual in this role to become a firm owner in the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for satisfaction and retention of the firm’s wealth management clients.
- Lead regular financial planning and investment review meetings.
- Analyze client’s personal financial data to develop customized financial plans.
- Effectively communicate BCP’s investment strategy, planning solutions and value proposition.
- Work closely with the Blue Chip Investment Committee to implement portfolio rebalancing recommendations, including the formulation and execution of trades, and communicate portfolio enhancements to clients.
- Be involved with training and development of new team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Attorney (JD) required.
- 5 years of experience with a wealth management, family office, law, or CPA firm.
- Experience using financial planning software such as eMoney, Money Guide Pro, etc.
- Comfort working with the MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Tamarac, or other similar recordkeeping technologies.

Employment Particulars:
- Position Type: Full time, with a fair amount of flexibility
- Position Location: Farmington Hills, MI
- Total compensation of $130,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience
