Role Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator role will be managed by the Director of Marketing at Blue Chip Partners. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of strategic marketing efforts, including the use of AI for market research initiatives at Blue Chip Partners, content creation using a variety of software to repurpose video content, and help orchestrate company-wide marketing initiatives as we continue to grow as a firm. The candidate will be creatively inclined, detail oriented, leadership-minded, accountable, a team player, motivated, and an efficient learner.
Responsibilities include contributing to the successful implementation of our marketing strategy, with a focus on video production, graphic design and copy writing for our advertising, PR, and communications. This involves producing our video podcast and repurposing that content daily across channels including but not limited to email, social media, and blog posts on our websites. Planning and managing our social media calendar for digital marketing purposes includes Facebook, LinkedIn, Libsyn, Google Business Profile, and YouTube across for Blue Chip Partners, LLC and our sister company Blue Chip Estate Planning, PLLC. Additionally, the role entails learning new skills like, booking podcast guesting tours for our advisors and executive staff. Furthermore, the position involves organizing qualitative data and quantitative data points: transcribing market research interviews and gathering marketing metrics in spreadsheets.
In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will learn to mimic the ‘company voice’ of Blue Chip Partners and Blue Chip Estate Planning in writing copy for both companies. The Marketing Coordinator will learn to work with our compliance department to ensure all content is approved before published. The role will also be involved in planning and executing events and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall value our clients’ experience and bolstering Blue Chip Partners’ overall reputation in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Director of Marketing to shape and implement the strategic marketing plan, including planned content strategy, new product launches, and advertising collateral design.
- On-site weekly podcast and promotional video recording. Video production from camera management to editing and copywriting for each episode is required.
- Graphic creation in Canva for each podcast episode as well as unique graphics for all social media posts.
- Build social media campaigns and implement strategies by creating and scheduling daily posts for both Blue Chip Partners and Blue Chip Estate Planning.
- Learn podcast pitching strategy from Director of Marketing to book podcast guesting tours for advisors and executive staff.
- Write weekly email newsletter to clients using MailChimp email marketing software.
- Help build funnels that drive traffic to the firm’s services by collecting cold leads and nurturing them via email marketing.
- Working with internal thought leaders (lawyers and advisors) to take their original content and turn them into blog posts and social media content across channels.
- Use AI and search engines, like Google, to research SEO friendly podcast titles and show notes examples to help the Blue Chip NOW! Podcast become a top rated show.
- Optimize firm’s YouTube channel’s with trending titles, adding “cards”, end screens and updated show notes on all videos.
- Use AI video editing software to create clips for social media from Blue Chip video podcast
- Research and coordinate speaking and writing opportunities for advisors to enhance visibility
- Organize qualitative data from market research interviews into an excel spreadsheet by reading interview transcriptions and gathering key words.
- Keep track of marketing performance using a scorecard tied to Google analytics and other data sources
- Develop print collateral materials using Canva when directed
- Propose and implement ideas to improve client experience (i.e. bucket list, etc.)
- Assist with planning, coordination and logistics for both internal and external events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent real-life experience) in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Video editing and graphic design skills or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail
- Collaborative nature with ability to work well with others and coordinate projects across departments.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong degree of self-direction, accountability, and motivation Strong communication and presentation skills
- Creative thinker with strategic mindset and ability to generate new ideas for content and campaigns
- Excitement around digital marketing concepts, including social media, e-mail marketing, SEO and content marketing
- Willingness to learn customer needs and speak up to adjust strategic approach when necessary
- Experience taking the lead on team projects
- Experienced in Canva, Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Mailchimp
- Experience with event coordination and planning
Schedule/Pay/Benefits:
- This is a paid, full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Hybrid position- In-person at our office in Farmington Hills, MI and remote via company laptop
- Reporting directly to Director of Marketing and executive staff at Blue Chip Partners, LLC
